About ten years ago someone gave me a little laminated card to keep in my wallet that read Don’t Quit! Throughout all my moves (ten cities in ten years) and wallet changes (hundreds) can you believe I still have it? It is now on my Motivation Board I have set up in my office area. A much safer place if I do say so myself! If you follow me on Instagram and Stories you know exactly what I’m talking about because I share quotes from my Motivation Board almost every day. Now back to the little card that could! lol
Every now and then we have “one of those days”. Right? Well, that is why I wanted to share this little piece of motivation with you today. Don’t quit and never ever give up. Don’t even make it an option! Just know everything is happening for a reason. You may not like it at the time but it is happening and in the end will make you a bigger, better and stronger person. Promise! By the way I told myself this exact thing yesterday afternoon.
Moral of the story…
When you need a little push come back here to read this below just as I went back to it last night and again this morning.
Don’t Quit!
When things go wrong as they
sometimes will,
When the road you’re trudging
seems all up hill,
When the funds are low
and the debts are high
And you want to smile,
but you have to sigh.
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest, if you must, but don’t you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As everyone of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about
When he might have won
had he stuck it out;
Don’t give up though the pace
seems slow –
You may succeed with
another blow.
Success is failure turned
inside out –
The silver tint of the clouds
of doubt,
And you never can tell
how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far;
So stick to the flight when
you’re hardest hit –
It’s when things seem worst
that you must not quit
